Nick Tofalos has worked as an osteopath in Lancashire for the last twelve years following five years of rigorous training at the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) in London. In addition, he undertook a postgraduate qualification in Classical Osteopathy, being tutored by John Wernham, at the time a 96 year old osteopath who had been taught by one of the very earliest osteopaths who founded the BSO in 1917.
Nick has also trained in metabolic typing. This allows him to offer nutritional advice to help your body restore health naturally.
In addition to running two practices Nick also owns Garstang Health Food Store and has acquired a wide knowledge base on herbs, vitamins and supplements.
Unlike much of modern medicine that deals with alleviating symptoms, Nick’s philosophy is to look for good health by addressing problems of nutrition, lifestyle, exercise, environmental factors and mental health. The best way to not get ill is to be healthy! By looking for good health and behaving appropriately, illness shall fade away.
Of course, it is not always that simple and to that end Nick is on hand to help and support our customers and potential customers alike.
